The very first Vancouver Sun Run took place in 1987 and since then, thousands of contestants and volunteers have gathered in Downtown Vancouver to celebrate health and run (or walk) 10 kilometres through beautiful Vancouver.
The 2012 Vancouver Sun Run is set to begin on Sunday, April 15 at 9:00 am at the corner of Burrard and Georgia Street. Highlights on the route include Stanley Park, English Bay and the BC Place Stadium.
After the run, a wrap party for contestants and friends and family will be held inside the BC Place Stadium so be sure to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a hearty celebration.
